Laracuente Ledger Lifestyle Sealed with a Kiss Wedding

Sealed with a Kiss (12 Months To Go)

Your girl is getting married! It’s so exciting. A little background information about me, my name is Alexis, and my fiancé is Jeremy. We are currently planning the wedding of my dreams. I met Jeremy at the end of June. My introduction to him was made through my uncle. It was an awkward meeting, but what can I say? I’m awkward too. He asked me for my number, and we went on our first date a week later. Jeremy picked me up at my house with flowers in hand and opened my door. To you, this might not seem like much, but no other guy had done this for me before. So he was definitely racking up points in my book.

He had a whole special day planned dinner, mini-golf, and a movie. He was such a gentleman, and I loved it. We continued talking, and after a month, he asked me to be his girlfriend, to which I said, “yes.” I should also mention that this was before the pandemic. So after a year of dating, on our anniversary, my best friend asked me to marry him. Now you’re all caught up on how we met. A year may seem fast, but when you know, you know.

So what’s the point of this blog?

I thought it would be interesting to blog about my whole wedding planning experience. Jeremy and I have decided on a full year engagement. We decided this not only plan but also wait out the pandemic rules. Rules like mask-wearing and large group gatherings. I also thought maybe someone out there might actually find it interesting to know what it was like planning during these times. I will try my best to give you as many details and pictures as I possibly can.

As I looked through blogs, I noticed no one ever mentions prices. Something which I always found super interesting. So I will be providing them to you. Currently, I have so many ideas floating around in my head, and I also have a few do it yourself ideas I would love to share. I will be summarizing my experiences in two-month increments—each article titled by the count down to the wedding. I am so excited to plan and share my experience with you.
