WWE Clash of Champions aires this Sunday and we already brought to light 3 Superstars that Must-Win. And for this piece, we will now make some bold predictions for the event.
Kevin Owens Makes His Presence Felt
On last Tuesday’s Smackdown, Kevin Owens was made the special guest referee to the Chad Gable versus Shane McMahon King of the Ring qualifier matchup. Kevin would count Shane out of the matchup pretty quickly. And it would lead to Shane attacking and firing Kevin Owens. But we know that this story will not end in this manner. With Clash of Champions this Sunday, we can expect Kevin Owens to find a way to retaliate against Shane McMahon as we saw with the Stone Cold Steve Austin versus Mr. McMahon saga of the Attitude Era.
Boss N Hug Connection Collect All the Gold
We spoke about Sasha Banks and Bayley on our 3 Must-Win piece, but we must predict the Boss N Hug Connection to grab hold of both Women’s Championships. The return of Sasha Banks came at the most opportune time, the Women’s division has been lacking in quality contenders for Becky Lynch’s Raw Women’s Championship. And in a somewhat similar fashion, Bayley’s character was getting stale. The heel turns by the Boss N Hug Connection make way for new stories to be told with both women as Champions.
Rowan Was No Alone
Over the past couple of weeks, we have seen the evolution of Erick Rowan. Rowan went from silent enforcer to “master manipulator”. The idea of Rowan being solely responsible for the attacks against Roman Reigns is somewhat unbelievable as has been presented. At Clash of Champions Rowan will take on Roman Reigns in a No Disqualification match and I fully believe Erick Rowan will be victorious. But more importantly, I think the real mastermind behind the attack will be presented.
The Fiend Gives Seth Rollins the Win
Over the last few installments of the Firefly Fun House, we have been given an ominous message of “See You In Hell” by Bray Wyatt. This is a clear message about the October Pay-Per-View Hell in a Cell. Seth Rollins, the current WWE Universal Champion, is set to defend that Championship against Braun Strowman. The Fiend will have his pick of opponents. But helping Seth Rollins retain allows The Fiend the ability to build Rollins up. Allowing The Fiend to knock Rollins down several notches. Sunday we will see The Fiend give Seth Rollins a helping hand. Only to take him down to Hell (in a Cell.)
