2 Reason to Watch WWE SummerSlam

The biggest party of the summer set to take place this Sunday at WWE SummerSlam. So with this being one of the big four pay-per-views for WWE, it’s usually a must-see event. And with that in mind, we’ll look at two reasons to watch WWE SummerSlam.

Trish Stratus Final Match

This Sunday has a match of the past versus the present when Charlotte Flair takes on Trish Stratus. Trish has announced that this will be her final match. Stratus has been one of the best to ever step into a wrestling ring. So seeing her final match up in her home country of Canada is something even more special. And anytime Charlotte Flair is involved you know you’re going to get an excellent match. So if you weren’t all that interested in SummerSlam before seeing the final matchup of arguably the greatest women’s competitor in WWE history wrestle her last match, you should be interested now.

The Fiend’s Debut

One character that has always intrigued me is Bray Wyatt. Since the debut of Wyatt, WWE has dropped the ball. There’s so much room for the character to grow in various ways. But it has now taken another reinvention, and we see that this Sunday. The fiend has been arguably the best thing on WWE TV for the last several months. The Firefly Funhouse is one of the strangest things, yet you can’t look away. And even when you’re watching you’re not sure what it is that you’re seeing. We are now going to see the in-ring debut of this version of the character. Over the course of the last several weeks, we have seen the fiend take out Superstars and legends like Finn Balor, Mick Foley, and Kurt Angle. One has to hope that this reinvention is able to save Bray Wyatt once again.
