When I started this endeavor about 11 months ago, I never imagined what would come from it. I wasn’t exactly sure how this would go. If I would have the dedication to continue. Would I be able to find enough to write about on a weekly basis? Would I be able to gain enough of a following to make a real go of this writing thing? Or if like with many others things I’ve started in my life, I wouldn’t follow through. Would The Laracuente Ledger just be the next thing on that long list?
But here we are approaching the one year mark next month. And The Laracuente Ledger is still running. But it hasn’t been a solo act, I’ve had help along the way. And to all those who have supported and shown their love, I say Thank you. This has not been easy to make happen as sometimes the struggles for inspiration take a heavy toll on my mind. And yet other days they are as easy as a Summer breeze. But with the grace of God, I continue.
Laracuente Ledger Spotlight
This year we have had the privilege to speak to and bring awareness to some fantastic people and projects. We were able to spotlight people like the upcoming music artist and entrepreneur Chris Grant Jr as well as pro-wrestler/author Eddie Edwards and his co-author/artist Mark Poulton. We were also able to speak with Toy Quest 101 and their efforts to bring awareness of autism. And we would highlight their exclusive interview with WWE Superstar Sonya Deville. The Laracuente Ledger Spotlight will have more exclusive sitdowns with more guest in the coming year as well. So be sure to stay tuned for those.
Thanksgiving
Thanksgiving is a day set apart every year where family and friends get together to break bread (amongst a plethora of other foods) and share time and stories. So on this Thanksgiving day, I just want to say thank you to my family and friends who have helped and supported me throughout my life. I want to thank everyone who has ever taken the time to read any of the posts on this website. It’s because of you that I get to express myself and get closer to living a dream.
But most importantly all the thanks goes to Jesus Christ because without my Lord and Savior none of what I do would be possible. I don’t usually speak/write on politics or religion and I don’t plan to start. But on this day set aside for thanks. I just need to thank my Lord.
So to everyone reading this post have a happy, safe and blessed Thanksgiving.
