All Smiles In The Bronx As Bats Come Alive.

The 2018 Bronx Bombers are starting to heat up. They are beginning to play like the team everyone envisioned at the outset of the season.

The Yankees heading into tonight’s contest against the Minnesota Twins the Yankees record is 13-9 and have won four straight games. They also have a run differential of +31 which is the second highest in the division behind only the Boston Red Sox.

Over the Yankees four-game winning streak, they have outscored opponents 36-6.

The New York Yankees were expected to have a prolific offense and as the weather is starting to heat up so are the Yankees bats.

The New York Yankees Are Truly the Bronx Bombers

This is the type of offensive output that Yankee fans have been waiting for since the season began. And it is a welcomed sight as the defense has not been the best in the early going. And that aspect will need to improve but if the offense can keep clicking. And if the starters can continue giving solid outings this Yankee ballclub can be a very special team.

Tonight Sonny Gray is on the mound and it will be a different test as Sonny has not been great since arriving in the Bronx at the 2017 trade deadline. However, if Gray can regain his “Oakland Ace” form he can provide the Yankees with an extra layer of depth and dominance that a championship caliber team like the Yankees will need. Tonight, Sonny looks to take up that mantle and begin to regain his brilliance.
