On January 28th 2018 in Philadelphia Pennsylvania the WWE will have their annual event on the Road to Wrestlemania….The Royal Rumble. This year will be a special event as it will mark the first time in history that there will be a Women’s Royal Rumble match. If you have ever seen the Men’s Royal Rumble before you know that the WWE like to have “Surprise” entrants making the Rumble “Unpredictable” Sometimes the surprise entrant can be a Superstar returning from injury or even a debuting Superstar. The Royal Rumble has become known for these marquee moments. Likewise the first ever Women’s Royal Rumble match should be looked at no different.
So here are some potential “Surprise” entrants we can probably expect.
TRISH STRATUS
Trish is almost a lock to be a surprise entrant. Stratus already has a star studded WWE Hall of Fame career in which being an entrant in the first ever Women’s Royal Rumble will only add to her value
LITA
If you have Trish Stratus you will have Lita. Just like Trish Lita’s already a WWE Hall of Famer and her career legacy is cemented in the minds and hearts of wrestling fans across the world. However, don’t be surprised if Lita comes out of retirement for this historic event.
BETH PHOENIX
As with Trish and Lita, Beth Phoenix is already a WWE Hall of Famer and with therefore only add to her legacy with being a entrant in the first ever Women’s Royal Rumble.
BELLA TWINS
The Bella Twins have created a real legacy for themselves in WWE. And with rumors running that a return could be in store for these lovely ladies what better way to return than as “Surprise” entrants in the Women’s Royal Rumble match.
RONDA ROUSEY
We’ve seen her step foot in a WWE ring once before at Wrestlemania 31 and it wouldn’t be all that shocking if it happened again. Rousey has already had some ties in with WWE the 4 on 4 Horsemen battle that was teased in a backstage vignette at the Mae Young Classic or the fact she was seen at dinner with WWE COO Triple H just last week. Rousey at the Rumble could be one “Surprise” to expect.
As surprises go these don’t really surprise but they would provide an awesome addition and feeling to the Women’s Royal Rumble. But before the Rumble event occurs on January 28th from Philadelphia PA, a passing thought or a “Wild Card” if you will of a possible true “Surprise” entrant in the first ever Women’s Royal Rumble match could be….
AJ LEE
AJ Lee merits an entrance into the first ever Women’s Royal Rumble match for accolades in the WWE. Don’t expect it but just know if it happens just remember where you first heard it could happen.
